After months of rumors, “LOL” finally has a release date!
Last year, Miley shot “LOL”, a remake of the 2008 french film of the same name. Various sites came up with fake release dates, but Lionsgate Entertainment (the distributers of the movie) released an official release date.
The movie should be released by April 2012! The rumored release date is February 9th BUT a reliable source recently said that the movie is being released in late March – early April.
Movie Plot:
After 15-year-old Lola is dumped by her boyfriend, she sets her sights on his best friend. She begins her sexual awakening, and experiments with drugs. During Lola’s tribulations, her oblivious 40-year-old mother struggles to move on from her divorce.
If the news is true, a movie trailer should be released soon! Apparently the movie poster has been created. Hopefully we will get to see it soon! This is the description of the poster according to a very reliable source:
It’s black and white with pink text. It’s got a giant picture of Miley and Demi and then three stills going across it.

I don’t mean to ruin ur moment of joy, but believe me when I tell you this can’t be official nor true… a trailer gets released at LEAST 4 monnths before the release of a movie, especially if the busget is as big as LOL’s !
so it being released in TWO months is just IMPOSSIBLE, normally 2 months bfr the release of a movie, u’d already see ads everywhere and trailers playing in theaters everywhere !!!
I’d say we can count 4 months AFTER the trailer is released, if the trailer is out in January, expect the movie to be released in April or May, or hopefully June…
Smilers, we have to be patient, we NEED this movie to be a commercial SUCCESS and the only way it will be, is if it’s well promoted !

Oh and bu the way, when “official” dates will be set, expect them to be released to the high commands of the press, Lionsgate PR team won’t release the date to some twiterer, they’ll more likely give them to E! !!!
