A talented youngster has helped to raise £600 for a South Tyneside cancer charity with an emotional tribute to her dad.
Taylor Bellerby, 11, was heartbroken when her father, Ian, lost his fight with cancer last August, just four months after being diagnosed with the disease.
Devastated by his death, the youngster set about recording a CD to honour his memory with cash raised being donated to Cancer Connections.
The two-track CD features the talented Westoe Crown Primary School pupil singing her dad’s favourite song, Make You Feel My Love, by Adele, and a song chosen by Taylor in her own personal tribute to the 34-year-old – I Miss You, by Miley Cyrus.
The CD, sold at £5, has so far raised £600 for the charity based in Harton Lane, which supports people diagnosed with cancer and their families.
