Miley Cyrus is a huge animal lover. Her passion for dogs, is admired by many. She currently is the proud owner of four; Happy, Mary Jane, Floyd and newly rescued Bean.
As you guys know one of her puppies, Lila passed away about a month ago. This news was a huge devastation to Miley and her fans. In honor of Lila, fans are coming together to do something special for Pets Alive.
Pets Alive is a no-kill animal rescue, located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, about 1 1/2 hours from New York City. Animals at the sanctuary range from dogs and cats to farm animals, exotic birds, and many others. Their goal is to improve the lives of animals by rescue, rehabilitate, and ultimately placing them into warm and loving homes. Last year, Pets Alive saved more than 3500 lives!
Miley has recently connected with this rescue via Twitter, often commenting on their posts with admiration that she has for their animals.
In honor of Lila, fans are coming together to raise money for this rescue in order to help many other animals in need. Any amount of donation will be accepted. Our goal is to raise $1,500, but this total is not limited.
This fan project is a great way to help animals in need of love, while also doing something great in Lila’s honor!
We hope that you guys will come together to make this the best fan project we’ve ever done and make Miley proud.
