Tonight (6th September), Miley is attending and presenting at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards! The pre show starts at 7PM EST, with the main show starting at 8PM EST, on MTV.

At the start of this month, we updated that Miley would be attending the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. The show will air live from the Staples centre on Thursday, 6th September at 8/7c.

Miley’s manager confirmed that she would be attending – but that wasn’t just going to be attending. There were a lot of rumours that Miley might be hosting or performing. Now we know that Miley will also be presenting! Can’t wait to see her there (credit TeamMileyNY).

Maybe she’ll use the dress that she bought for the Teen Choice Awards!

Miley Cyrus is attending the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards! The award show will air live from the Staples centre on Thursday, 6th September at 8/7c.

Miley’s manager confirmed that Miley will be attending the VMAs this year (credit TeamMileyNY). Apparently she isn’t just going to be attending – which has made fans think she may be presenting, hosting or even performing!

These are still just rumours and assumptions – nothing else is confirmed yet, apart from Miley attending. Maybe she’ll use her dress that she bought for the Teen Choice Awards! Can’t wait to see her there already.

Congratulations to Miley – she took home two Teen Choice Awards tonight! She won Choice Hottie and Choice Fashion Icon! Unfortunately she wasn’t able to attend the show, but Ian Somerhalder (who won Choice Male Hottie) accepted the award for her – Miley thanked her parents, and most of all her fans. Fiancee Liam Hemsworth also won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Scene Stealer. Congratulations to both!

In the early stages of the event, last month, Do Something asked us to nominate for the 2012 award show. Miley ended up getting a nomination, thanks to her fans who got busy with nominating her!

This year, Miley is nominated for “Twitter” – and her fiancee Liam Hemsworth is nominated for favourite “Movie Star: Male“! Apparently, someone who works for Do Something has said that Miley is invited to the award show, and they hope she attends! It would be so cool if Miley and Liam both attended and won their awards.

Now it’s up to Miley fans to get her the award. Voting stars 9th July so let’s get this for Miley!

Make-A-Wish America announced the recipient of its first annual World Wish Day Star Award for exceptional contributions to helping grant wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions. Over 13,800 wishes were granted across the country in the fiscal year 2011 of which more than 900 involved celebrities.

Wish kids remark how attentive and gracious Miley is and how generous she is with her time. Make-A-Wish presented Miley with the award at a special event in Phoenix, where she granted the wishes of 8 wish kids.

Miley Cyrus, for the third year, joins Make-A-Wish in celebrating World Wish Day and its mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Miley granted wishes for children traveling from around the world, including Canada and Australia. In recognition for Miley’s incredible support in raising awareness for World Wish Day and for her outstanding achievement in granting 150 wishes, Make-A-Wish presented her with an inaugural World Wish Day Star Award. Miley will share her wish-granting experience and award on wish.org, through social media and on a special segment here, all in honor of World Wish Day.
