A wedding is still in the works for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

Contrary to recent reports, the singer has not called off her engagement to the Aussie actor, she announced via Twitter on Wednesday.

“I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it,” she posted. “I didn’t call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining”

A source close to Cyrus tells PEOPLE, “The wedding is still on. Miley and Liam have had some problems that they are working through. Miley doesn’t think it’s a big deal. She loves Liam and can’t wait to marry him.”

Earlier this year, Hemsworth’s rep denied reports that he had secretly tied the knot with Cyrus after she gave an interview to Cosmopolitan in which she referred to herself as married.

Cyrus, meanwhile, has been spotted recently in New York for Fashion Week and partying before the Grammys and after the Academy Awards, while Hemsworth recently flew to Australia to spend time with his family.

Fans of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth can finally breathe a much-needed sign of relief.

Rumors began that the twosome were headed for splitsville after the 20-year-old singer brought her mother Tish to Elton John’s annual AIDS Foundation Oscar viewing party, while Liam attended the Grey Goose Pre-Oscar bash at the Chateau Marmont and was snapped leaving with January Jones.

So, is the engaged duo (who recently returned from a romantic Costa Rica vacation) calling it quits?!

Nope! A source tells E! News the couple is still going strong, and any breakup speculation over the pair’s Oscar night separation is entirely false.

“They are totally together,” say the source.

An insider explains there is “no drama” over the couple being apart on Oscar night, and in fact, the reason why the former Disney star went to Elton’s party without him was because Miley’s mom had never been to the annual Academy bash and wanted to go. So Miley took her instead.

The source further insists the duo’s engagement is very much on. 

What a relief to hear the couple of more than three years is still going strong!

“Miley Falls Apart Without Liam,” blares a headline from In Touch, which claims Miley Cyrus turns into a “wild child” whenever fiancé Liam Hemsworth “isn’t by her side.”

The magazine reports that Cyrus’ behavior “has those around her alarmed,” and quotes a supposed “insider” as saying, “She’s terribly erratic.”

How so?

According to the tabloid, the singer-actress was “chain-smoking, mugging for cameras and acting bizarrely” at a pre-Grammys party in L.A. on February 9.

So, she was smoking cigarettes and posing for pictures? How insane!

Anyhow, the magazine goes on to note that Cyrus hung out with “two men wearing hats that said ‘Drugs’” during a New York press event on February 13.

Now that’s some seriously dangerous behavior right there.

In Touch acknowledges that Cyrus “didn’t have anything to drink” at the event, but claims the star was “overheard saying she was looking forward to going back to her hotel to ‘carry on the party.’”

The tab’s alleged “insider” adds that Cyrus’ supposed “out of control” antics are “worrying more and more people in her camp.”

Oh, please.

Cyrus was in New York for Fashion Week with her mother.

She spent her time doing press and going to runway shows, not throwing crazy hotel parties.

This story is a load of nonsense.

A source close to Cyrus laughed off the tale to Gossip Cop, calling the In Touch “report” a “joke.”

A rumor making the rounds on Twitter Tuesday afternoon led the Hannah Montana star to set the record straight on yet another online lie.

Several different Miley Cyrus fan groups on the social networking site sent out a tweet that ended up going viral. The post reads:

“There’s a new remix of “See You Again” coming out next month from Miley’s team. Can’t wait to hear her new music.”

The teen idol put a stop to the rumor before it even had a chance to gain momentum, by simply replying,

“Not true.”

Rumors are swirling that Miley Cyrus could replace Angus T. Jones on “Two and a Half Men.”

After the actor made waves with his show-bashing religious testimonial, a report circulated that Jones could be on his way out the door — and that Cyrus, who guest starred on the sitcom this season, was being eyed as a potential full-time replacement.

The rationale was that Cyrus brought “Two and a Half Men” big ratings with her appearances as Missi, and that she could be written into the show in a larger capacity to take over for Jones if he departs.

But Gossip Cop has learned there’s NO truth to the Cyrus-replacing-Jones rumors.

A spokesperson for Warner Bros. tells Gossip Cop the report is “not accurate.”

Meanwhile, sources close to the situation tell us that while Cyrus may yet appear in the future on “Two and a Half Men,” it’s “not a done deal,” and it has “nothing to do” with whether Jones stays.

The list of celebrities trailing into Dubai seems to be getting bigger and bigger, with the latest name to be mentioned is that of tween star turned pop princess, Miley Cyrus.

Rumour has it, the newly-engaged singer will be jetting into the region for a Mideast tour for retail brand, Millions of Milkshakes, which saw reality TV star Kim Kardashian jet into Dubai last year, with an upcoming visit to Kuwait and Bahrain from November 29-December 1.

Kim was accompanied by her famous mom, Kris Jenner; and it appears, Miley’s turn in the spotlight here is also slated to be a family affair.

Sheeraz Hasan, the founder of Millions of Milkshakes and the man behind the celebrity train headed for the region, tweeted over the weekend to confirm the same.

He stated: “In meetings discussing Miley Cyrus, Tish Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus to visit Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and India.”

Miley’s mother, Tish responded to the tweet, adding one of her own to say: “Would love to visit Dubai. It’s my dream.”

It is unclear when the Cyrus’ will head down to sunshine city, but well-placed mole has whispered that the trip could coincide with Miley’s fiancé’s trip to Abu Dhabi next March.

Actor Liam Hemsworth is scheduled to zip into the capital next year for a Hollywood film shoot, with actors Anthony Hopkins, Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson.

The mole also said a Miley concert could coincide with the trip, ahead of the Justin Bieber mega event on May 4, 2013 Sevens Stadium.
