In 2003, Miley made her film debut in Big Fish, where she played Young Ruthie. She made a cameo in High School Musical 2 in 2007.
She released her first DVD in 2008, a 3D concert film, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert (click here to read more). Also in 2008, she played the voice of Penny in Bolt (click here to read more), where she was nominated for Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Song, Golden Globe for Best Original Song and Kids Choice Award for Favourite Voice From an Animated Movie.
In 2009, Miley starred as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in Hannah Montana: The Movie (click here to read more). She won awards for Best Movie Actress at the Kids Choice Awards, Best Song from a Movie at the MTV Movie Awards, Favourite Breakout Movie Actress at the People’s Choice Awards, Choice Movie Actress and Choice Movie Hissy Fit at the Teen Choice Awards. She was also nominated for Choice Movie: Liplock at the Teen Choice Awards, Favourite Soundtrack at the American Music Awards, and Best Breakthrough Performance at the MTV Movie Awards.
In 2010, Miley starred in The Last Song (click here to read more), adapted from the Nicholas Sparks novel. She won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Hissy Fit and Choice Music: Love Song, an Australian Kids Choice Award for Fave Movie Star and Fave Kiss, a Kids Choice Award for Favourite Movie Actress and a J-14 Teen Icon Award for Iconic Movie Actress.
Miley made a cameo in Sex And The City 2 as herself, in 2010. She also made a cameo appeared in movie Never Say Never, where she performed Overboard with Justin Bieber.
In 2012, Miley appeared in French remake of the film LOL (click here to read more), where she played Lola. She also appeared in So Undercover (click here to read more) where she played Molly.
